Mobile-assisted English language learning for young learners during COVID-19 distance learning: Teachers’ experiences and voices

چکیده

Despite a number of previous studies investigating online learning during the COVID-19 outbreak, more needs to be reported about TEYL teachers’ insightful experiences in photovoice. To fill this gap, current phenomenological case study aimed at exploring enacting MALL distance period amidst pandemic using Two teachers were recruited as participants. The data garnered from participants’ photovoice collections depicting critical incidents and interviews. results showed that was perceived powerful instructional method English pandemic. they encountered several obstacles caused by unstable internet networks, difficulty direct supervision young learners, requirement extra effort prepare interesting teaching materials. On positive note, has benefited enriching their various mobile applications for language instructions. enactment also foregrounded parents’ important roles monitoring children’s use devices. Drawing findings, research implies can used explore teachers' students’ life with Indonesian teacher education.
